General information
The "Mechatronics" major offers education in an interdisciplinary area - mechatronics, including, among others: mechanics, electronics and computer science. The studies are aimed at obtaining knowledge and practical skills in the field of computer-aided design, production and operation of automation systems, robotics and the design and operation of special structures. Education is based on in-depth knowledge of mechanics, electronic control systems, selected branches of applied computer science and the ability to use computer-aided tools in the design of products and production and operation processes.
Studies conducted in English for Polish citizens and foreigners. Applicants must present a certificate of English proficiency at level B2.

Delivery of documents
After registering in the IRK online system, you must deliver (until 31 December 2026) to the university in person, through an authorized person or by post:
In the case of foreign documents:
- a foreign diploma with an apostille and a supplement or other document of graduation from a university abroad, entitling to apply for admission to second-cycle studies in the country in which it was issued (original);
- written information from the NAWA director confirming the level of education and eligibility to continue studies in Poland;
- translation of the diploma and the supplement into Polish by a sworn translator entered on the list of translators by the Ministry of Justice (original);
- a certificate confirming the knowledge of English at least at the B2 level (original);
- a printed personal questionnaire from the Internet Registration of Candidates (IRK);
- copy of passport or other official identity document (original available for inspection).

Recruitment rules
The start of recruitment for a specific field and form of study depends on the Rector setting a limit for admission to this field and form of study.

Only a candidate with a professional title of engineer, bachelor's degree, master's degree or master's degree in engineering obtained in this field or the following related fields may apply for admission to a specific field of second-cycle studies:
- automation and robotics;
- electronics and telecommunications;
- power engineering;
- security engineering;
- mechanical engineering;
- aerospace engineering;
- optoelectronics.
In the case of a candidate with a diploma of completion of another field of study or a diploma of completion of studies outside the Republic of Poland, the recruitment committee decides whether the candidate has the competences necessary to continue education in the selected field of study.
The scope of the qualification procedure includes:
- preparation of ranking lists;

The decision to admit a candidate to second-cycle studies by entering them on the student list is made by the admission committee, taking into account:

competences necessary to continue education at second-cycle studies in a specific field of study; -
results obtained during the previously completed studies; - the degree of compliance of the learning outcomes obtained by the candidate with the learning outcomes required to undertake second-cycle studies in a given field of study;

graduation result.
